HINCKLEY CHORAL UNION

Hinckley Choral Union is always pleased to welcome  new members in all voice parts.  If you enjoy singing then joining our choir may be just what you are looking for. 

Our Musical Director, Richard Archer, believes in maintaining a high standard of singing and encourages us to perform challenging works ranging from lighter choral music to sacred music.    Auditions are not required, though an ability to sing in tune and read music is desirable.  

Come along and try a rehearsal if you are not sure.  Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at Barwell Methodist Church from 7.30pm to 9.35pm. Music copies are loaned free of charge.

Programme:

Registration:  9.30am to 10.00am        

1st session  10.00am to 11.00am 

 Interval   Coffee/tea and biscuits will be available for 50p

 2nd session  11.30am to 12.15pm

The aim of this workshop is to attract new singers and provides an opportunity to sing along with some choir members in an informal way.  There are no auditions though an ability to follow musical notation would be helpful.
